My National Day Weekend

I went away over the National Day weekend to Desaru for work. It was more of a relaxing time than work. I was kind of happy with that arrangement. :) I didn't take many photos though. The travelling to up there and to eat was already tiring enough. So here are the "many" pics that I have. I shall go and kope some from other people later on :)

We saw this rhinoceros beetle on the way up to Desaru. It was disgustingly big. Yep, not a fan of insects but the kids were super excited.

Meet Jana :) I set at the kids table because I don't eat seafood. My dear bf sacrificed and set there with me as well. Thank you baby! Appreciate it lots :) I was so glad that after lunch, Ben and I went to the gym to exercise. I had too much food to eat in Desaru. I'm not exactly a foodie person.

Enjoying my first morning on the hammock. I was so scared that it couldn't take my weight but it could! Woohoo! Super relaxing :)

Woke up early the next morning to catch the sunrise. It was beautiful! :) But sadly, it was a little too cloudy. Sunrise pictures ahead <3>

We tried to take a dozen pics with the sunrise behind us. All attempts failed :(

Why a pic of this restaurant? The soup was really good. This restaurant is in JB. Everyone should go and try :) I have no idea what the address is though. I spent my time sleeping in the car. I hardly slept for the two nights I was there because my room mate snores really, really loudly :(

Oh! On another note, we were super glad to see LKY on TV during the National Day Parade :)

You can ask me anything on formspring.

Reflection and Looking Forward

Year 2011 has nothing but been filled with God's hands and blessings upon my life. It's been a really busy year for me and before you know it, it's the end of the year. So many things have changed. I'm still trying to fit into my job scope. It's kinda fun but yet tiring to think of activities time and time again to benefit the kids and parents. There ain't many things you can do especially now that there is a FSC around to do most of the job for you. Hahaha... :D

Bangkok with the Family from Day 1 to 5.

Bangkok was fun with all the shopping. I really like the hotel but it's a bit too far from the central area.We stayed at Ascott Sathorn. You should see the pictures of the gym and swimming pool below. I was so impressed! Bf is going there next week! I want to go too for another break and to clear leave!

Thanks to my FMIL who works for Cathay, we got upgraded to Business Class! First time leh! Nothing so great lar because this plane has been around for the longest time so it wasn't up to my expectations. There was a 3 course meal though :)

It was also my first time eating from a roadside stalls. My stomach isn't exactly the strongest, it disagrees with a lot of stuff. Good thing the stall was clean and I tried the prata with egg, banana and lots of condensed milk. Fattening only!

Swimming pool from our hotel room window and the gym pics below :)

Holidaying soon! :D

Today is Wednesday and it's almost the end of the year. My gosh! The first half of the year, you always feel like the year is going to take very long to end and before you know it, IT'S DECEMBER! How time flies!

I can't wait to go on a break soon but I'm not too excited about going BKK because the last time I went, I hardly brought back anything. Zzzz... I wanna go Hong Kong *whines* And the thing about this trip is that I'll be going with my entire family including my sister in law's family. It's such a coincidence that my dad passed away and my sister in law's mum has passed away too so that leaves her dad and my mum. You should see the way they fuss over the grandchildren.

Oh well, a break is a break. Better than not having a break right? I went to change money yesterday and the rate is pathetic.  I should not have changed my money the last round. To look forward or not to look forward? Oh, plus I have loads of things to do while I'm on holiday. I still have to plan my worship songs while overseas. Not complaining though. It's something I really enjoy. I shall take it as a good time to rest in the Lord and refresh myself.

I shall end of this post with my OTD on Sunday.

TheTinselRack Vintage 60's Top in Peach Sorbet.

The top is kind of expensive for the material used imo. I have this thing of buying 2 tops of the design but in different colors so I have the one in blue too. It really gives off the vintage vibe and the top is really cute. It'll be really cute if I could find a nice hair band to go with it and really cute earrings. Hahaha... so 60's >.< Only if you are a real fan of polka dots like me, get it.

I have to say though, TTR is really good at making quirky clothes and having great photoshoots. It makes the clothes even more tempting -.-"
