Relationships

"It is important to be yoked with people who walk closely with God. Accountability results in having close relationships with strong believers who are themselves accountable to other strong believers. It's important to be accountable because we are all capable of being deceived. We all have blind spots. We need people who will help us to see the truth about ourselves and our lives."
Stormie Omartian

I truly and strongly could not agree more than what was mentioned in her book. As I read, God showed me someone who is in my youth group who needs prayer. I believe it was due to the lack of accountability and not telling her the truth in love, has affected her walk with God. She may be coming to church, however I can sense the 'blahs'. Coming to church is just because I want to please my parents and yeah... all this while I have been coming. Of course, if she had better things to do, she probably wouldn't come. Why waste time right?

But that is not the point. The point is that I did not follow up and speak to her all this while. I just let her live her life as she wants to and this allowed her feelings to rule over what is right and wrong. Well, she is not the only one facing this kind of problems at this point of time. There are others too.

The devil attacks those who are standing alone and are not talking to anyone about their problems. Having godly relationships and a spiritual family is beneficial to us. How we relate to other people in the church will affect the quality of our life in the Lord.

So what to do now? It's called pray. Pray and pray and pray that God will somehow intervene. Well, He has.... Hahaha.... :) Thank God! Now, is to pray for the breaking down of the walls and all those which do not please Him. So people, let's carry on to pray and encourage one another in love.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up."
