I tell you... I was being nice on Sunday to call my brother and ask him, "If you are going to stand outside the house and wait, we will come home immediately."
This is what happened, he forgot to bring his house keys which I think he apparantly got scolded by someone.... Anyway, here's the conversation...
Me: Hello?
Brother: What do you want? (noticably irritated voice)
Me: Are you going to stay outside the house?
At this point of time, my sister was irritated coz she couldn't eat KFC and my mother was like,"Aiyah, they will surely go to some shopping centre lar." And I was being nice.
Brother: If your not going to offer any better solutions, why are calling? (at that point of time, he raised his voice at me.)
Me: What? I was trying to say that if you are going to stay outside we'll get the stuff and come lar.
Brother: *stunned silence*
Me: Bye! (putting the phone further away from my mouth) What's your problem, don't have to shout at me right?
Brother: *couldn't hear whether he had put down the phone or not*
What a life I have... Still quite pissed that he shouted at me. Whatever... I was trying to be nice and come home immediately but apparently, effort was not appreciated... as usual...
Brothers... especially older ones...
