I think I overate this CNY. Hehe... Too much Kueh Lapis but I'm super upset there was no good Kueh Bangkit and Kueh Bahulu this year. My favourites :( My mum doesn't make Kueh Bangkit anymore as she says it's too much work. She does make the best Kueh Lapis and Pineapple tarts though <3
Chinese New Year is a good time to find out how big all the smaller cousins have grown. I just found out that one has graduated from JC and is applying to NUS to get into medical school *soooo smart lar!!!* >.<
And my nephew that I met one year ago, he can walk now. Oh man, makes me feel old. Children grow up really quickly.

Jed was so happy to see Elise as they only see each other once a year. Here's the conversation between Elise and Jed (both of them speak with some "angmoh" accent, so you can imagine how funny it is.)
Jed, "How old are you, Elise?"
Elise, "I'm five."
Jed, "You're only five? How come you are taller than me? I'm seven years old!"
| The only close up photo of me. Hahaha... Wasn't in a picture taking mood. |

And so, this is my maternal side of the family.
Well, we were suppose to take photos we the other side but we didn't manage too. We'll take at my cuzzie's wedding.
My bf is scared of my uncle btw (dad's side) as he was drunk when we went for the reunion lunch. My uncle is super loud (very expressive) too. It was worst when he was drunk. At least he was drinking wine. Hahaha... And my uncle called him, "Benny". Close enough.
Ending off this post with CNY outfits from #lovebonito. I had other dresses but was too lazy to think of what to pair with.
