Judging others

After releasing my forgiveness to God is making me feel so much more at ease with myself. Why stubbornly hold on to something which does not give you peace? As usual, she didn't answer my message again but I truly believe that God will create an opportunity for us to reconcile our relationship.

As I was praying, God revealed to me about 'judging others.' As humans, we tend to believe what we see with our eyes and not look deeper. Remember the sayin, 'Don't judge a book by it's cover." Then again, who doesn't judge the cover of a book before buying especially if it's all wrapped nicely and wow... such a nice cover. And of coz the title must sound attractive too. How about magazines? I love to look for magazines which talks about the latest fashion. Gives me inspiration on what to wear.

Well, that's how we judge others don't we? The things we see with our eyes are what we choose to believe and like. However, God told me... look deeper. There are a lot of things deep inside others which we can't see. Rumors after rumors have been spread because we don't know what is the true story behind others or behind the words that people say. I have to admit... I have been judging someone from the way she reacts to certain issues and how she chooses to not answer my messages. Yes, I'm still sore by that fact. Hahaha... :) but she may be busy... or there might be some other story behind this issue.

Yeah... some of you may think that oh... don't talk than don't talk lor. That's not the point. The point is that we are in the same church and God has given us a body of church members to love, accept and be accountable to one another. My prayer for myself is that God will open up my eyes to the things unseen and show my how I can rebuild my relationship with her. Most importantly, not to judge others by the way they do things but choose to carry on loving them despite how much you dislike it. Someone once said, "Love the person, hate the sin." So should we carry on loving the person despite all that the person has done? Yeah... "Don't judge! Just love!"
