Daddy

I still miss my dad after so long. I mean it's natural right? After attending a few funerals, it made me miss him even more. It brought back memories of 'that' day. It's still so vivid in my mind. The hospital, the smell, the events that followed. Gosh... it hurts...

There is a sort of emptiness in my house knowing that my family is not 'full' at least in numbers.

Daddy... Some will never know how to appreciate their fathers until they are gone. I'm an example. How I wish my dad was around still... I wonder how long a person can grieve for...

What Makes a Dad
God took the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The calm of a quiet sea,

The generous soul of nature,

The comforting arm of night,

The wisdom of the ages,

The power of the eagle's flight,

The joy of a morning in spring,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,

The depth of a family need,

Then God combined these qualities,

When there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so,
He called it ... Dad

That was my father... I really thank the Lord for the time He was on earth.
