Egg Tarts

My committee members and I had a fund raising project for our year end carnival, "Bond Fest". "Bond Fest" is a project by my company where we bring the community together to have a time of fun, games, laughter and also to bring the Christmas cheer! :)

It's going to be a much bigger project than we expected. We've run carnivals before but this year, the scale is much bigger and we are super excited. The only sad thing is that there won't be any holidays for me till this is over.

Anyway, so we had a "Lunch Buffet" fund raiser in our church. I wasn't there to enjoy the food because I had to work and I'm so thankful that we managed to raise a good amount of money. Well, that being said, if you are following me on Instagram, you would have seen these yummy egg tarts.

My sister has a real flare for baking. She should take over my mother's business one day. I have to say that the crust was super hard to fit into the mould. It must be of the correct thickness. That's why I don't really like baking. Everything must be accurate. #lazyme

Pictures below for proof of accuracy. The round balls must weigh 0.15kg.

Anyway, to cut everything short, for those who are interested you can get the egg tart recipe here:

It's advisable to put your egg tarts in the fridge once it has cooled down as the crust will soften the next day. And also, please do put lesser sugar as it is quite sweet. Have fun baking! :)
